Why Nonviolent Communication

For conversations that flow instead of friction

Nonviolent Communication, also known as NVC or Connective Communication, is the method created by Marshall Rosenberg. It helps you discover what's happening beneath the surface: feelings, needs, and longings. In yourself, and in the other person.

From there, room opens up for understanding, collaboration, and real connection. Not by pushing harder to be right, and not by erasing yourself either, but by saying clearly and gently what's really going on.

What you'll learn

A day of practicing, experiencing, and discovering

We work in a safe, small group, in an experiential way. Not much 'should', plenty of exploring and feeling.

Observing without judgment

Recognizing and naming feelings and needs

Empathic listening, even in difficult conversations

Expressing yourself clearly and respectfully

Working with anger, resistance, and discomfort

There's room for practice, reflection, silence, exchange, and lightness. Whatever shows up is welcome. You'll go home with concrete tools, more self-insight, and confidence in your own way of communicating.

Who it's for

This day is for you if you

  • Long for more connection at work or at home
  • Notice that conversations sometimes get stuck
  • Are curious about yourself and others
  • Want to communicate with more softness and strength

No prior knowledge needed. Just a willingness to show up.
